  • Very sturdy monopod

This is a great monopod. It's built like a tank and will support almost any camera/lens combination with ease. It's not as light as the carbon fibre models, but is significantly cheaper. (The weight has never been an issue for me personally.) The leg clamps are metal and can be tightened if they get loose with age and wear. I have mine coupled with the Manfrotto 234RC tilt head which allows portrait orientation of the camera and the use of a quick release plate. I highly recommend this unit for those that need something sturdy to sit their cameras on when a tripod is inappropriate.
