Hello: I purchased this unit when it was on sale at $99.95 and for the most part it is worth that much, certainly not $189.99! The unit is fairly well made with a few exceptions, the pan feature is very smooth but the tilt function is very notchie, that is the only word I can think of to describe it. When you apply any tension to the tilt knob, it is impossible to tilt without jerking, and the way it is designed very difficult to take apart and repair! The finish of the unit is also sub par in my humble opinion. Mine sits in the basement at the moment awaiting me to find a way to dissemble the tilt bolt assembly without damaging the whole tilt assembly! Don.
