I just picked this lens up today, and I'm still blown away how sharp it is @ 1.4. Although there is noticeable fringing, it's nothing that can't corrected in PP. Otherwise, it focuses quicker and quieter than any lens I've ever used. It costs a pretty penny, but its one solid investment you will not regret.
