  • Both the Camera and Service are amazing

  • March 05, 2012

For the last 6 months now I have been looking into purchasing a camera but had no idea what to get so I decided to do some research. I finally decided to walk into the Henry's store on Kennedy rd. and Progress about 2 weeks ago and met Shauna. At that time I was looking at the T3 since I was just a beginner. Last week future shop had a sale on the t2i for 619.99 plus taxes with the basic lens. So I called Shauna and asked her if she could price match. Off topic I don’t like going to Futureshop unless I really have to. Their staff has no product knowledge and is very pushy. So I went in the following day as promised to Shauna and she TOOK THE TIME to walk through the camera with me. After I got home I went YouTube and did some more walk through videos, that Shauna recommended. After the videos I started taking pictures of my canary. I was so amazed at what this camera can do. Since this is my first camera I didn’t know what to expect. If you are looking to buy a first digital SLR I would highly recommend this camera and if you are looking for a place to buy go and visit Shauna at Henry's on Kennedy rd.

  • Best Camera EVER

  • January 08, 2012

Before I purchased the Canon Rebel T2i, I had a DSLR. After owning that DSLR camera for less than a year, I knew it was time to upgrade. My husband and I read a ton of reviews and tried out several cameras, but the Canon Rebel T2i stuck out as the obvious winner. Although it looks intimidating at first, it is extremely user friendly. The quality of picture that we get from this camera is amazing. The video that it takes is so good that we do not use our video camera anymore. We also purchased an additional lens for it as well and have noticed that each lens makes a difference in the picture. I recommend this camera to everyone, and am very pleased with it!

  • 7D in a smaller body!

This is a great camera. Picture quality is outstanding and video quality is essentially the same as the bigger cousin, 7D. For the price, this must be one of the best camera's on the canon market. Most definitely recommend this camera to anyone starting out in DSLR photography or a seasoned pro looking for a back-up on a budget.

  • Great Camera, Slight Beef with Video

  • March 22, 2012
  • By: Antonio

One of the best entry level cameras for beginners. On auto, pictures are great, but there are still enough manual options to tinker the camera to your needs. While the video is amazing, the video is recorded in mono and files are huge, so make sure you have enough space. Videos also require a manual focus, which can be a slight pain. But all in all, a great package for beginners.

  • Rebel T2i

  • March 22, 2012

Have been a canon shooter for all of my shooting time, and got my first digital rebel xt in 2007. As great as that camera is it was time to upgrade to take my photography to the next level. researched the canon lines and pretty much decided on the rebel T2i. So off to my favorite henry's store in Oakville where the ever helpful sales staff made me feel that I had made the right choice. T he 18-55 IS lens is great, and the higher iso and larger view screen make this an easy camera to use. Combined with the lenses that I currently own my photography has improved greatly. I would reccomend this camera and Henry's to anyone looking for a quality digital camera and knowledgable staff.

  • Excellent camera, no hassle service

  • January 30, 2012

I bought this Canon T2i kit recently from the Oakville store and was very impressed with the staff and service. The camera is awesome too, having so much fun with it. I bought the camera on sale, as well as trading in an older camera I had. I'd been to another competing store earlier that wasn't interested in my trade. Henry's not only took the trade-in, but price matched the T2i where another place was selling it cheaper at the time. The staff didn't hesitate, matched the price, deducted my trade-in, and never once did I get a hassle. So many other places give you a hard time if you ask about a competitor's price, it was nice to deal with professionals who appreciate your business. I will come back for future purchases for sure!
