Picked-up a Fuji JX250 as a gift for my father, and tested it thoroughly for 2 days before giving it to him. Good thing I did. Colors are faded and disapointing for a fuji. Battery life is very short. HD video is grainy, with somewhat washy colors, and worst of all, while zooming in/out, focus is very slow to follow, and will totally not focus at infinity for landscape video shots with zoom. The rotary mode selector at the back is flush with the body and difficult to grip and operate. There is NO A/V out to send vids or pics to TV. The flash is located very close to the corner of the cam, and due to the very small size of the cam, very easily covered by fingers. I own 2 other fuji cams, namely an F100fd (excellent) and an old basic E510 (5mp) which still totally beats this one. I still am a fuji fan, but they did indeed missed the boat with this one. Replaced it with a Nikon S4000, which was a great move !
