  • Awesome entry level DSLR camera

  • August 01, 2011
  • By: Christian

I owned a Lumix FZ28 and was in the market for a newer high end point and shoot camera but was disappointed with both the Canon SX30 and the Lumix FZ100. The picture quality was poor on these cameras to say the least. I did some research on DSLRs but found that most of the cameras I was looking at had a price that was out of my range. One day I walked into a camera store and a salesperson was looking at a printout of some insect. To me it looked like a money shot for a magazine cover. When I asked him what camera he had used to take the shot, he pulled out the K-x. I purchased the camera and have not looked back since. This camera takes awesome pictures and is also affordable. Get this camera with the 18-55 and 55-300 lenses and you're set for most shooting situations. The only thing that I'm looking to add to this camera is a better flash. For the price, this camera gets *****!
