All I can say is WOW!! This is an amazing camera and the pictures are really sharp. (I also purchased a 70-300 lense). This is my camera for life!

The Canon EOS 7D is a great camera, with many diverse options. It produces great image quality and controls noise very well. It has access to both ef-s and ef lenses, which gives you a wide variety of choices. I could continue to write tons of stuff about how great this camera is, but the bottom line is that you'll have to try it out yourself. Amazing Camera!
I was new to photography and my friend who is in school for photography recommended a Nikon D90. I really liked that camera. It was simple to use and great to learn on. However, 2 months after I bought it I decided to jump ship to Canon. (Long story why - nothing bad on Nikon). I was attracted to the Canon due to the increased weather sealing, and the amazing movie modes. I didnt plan on using it as a video camera often, but I liked the option. To my surprise I actually find myself using it often. Even the internal mic is outstanding! I have recorded a lot of video in techno concerts with pounding bass and the mic hasnt maxed out! I was impressed. The image quality is amazing as well. I really do like the higher resolution. Not because I need large prints, but I like being able to crop in on the image and still enjoy great resolution and quality. The quick menu on the camera is really useful! It takes a lot to learn everything the camera can do. The menu system is pretty deep and takes some time to learn where things are. However, Canon allows you to create a custom menu with the features that you change most often. All in all, great camera.
I love this camera , with the 17-50mm f2.8 sigma it is a perfect walkaround set-up.

I have an interest in getting into wildlife photography and my online research kept pointing me to the Canon EOS 7D. Features I was looking for included speed, clarity and weather resistance. The 7D has delivered on all fronts. As I am new to this I have matched my new camera with an EFS 55-250 IS lens (a really expensive lens might be in my future). I got great advice from the staff at Henry's - most importantly that I didn't need the battery grip to achieve 8 FPS (my research was wrong on this point), and he pointed me to a UDMA card that would allow me to take advantage of the camera's speed. In the first month the learning curve has been steep, but the results are there. I have taken the best photos of deer of my life, and some good frames of snowy owls. I can see that I have a lot to learn from this camera, and the 7D has the capability to grow with me. One downside I see is that the manual indicates an operating temperature range from 0 to 40 C, yet the manual gives instructions on what to do when bringing the camera in from very cold conditions. I am confident that the camera can deal with sub-zero temperatures, but I don't want to push my luck.
I bought my 7D back in Nov 2009, shortly after it released. First set of shots were fired on my Honeymoon that same month in St.Barts. What a great SLR this is, so many options so many features. The AF on this is quality and hits home with every shot. Crisp clean imagery! I paired my 7D with my walk around lens 24-70mm 2.8L. Thanks Henrys for your informative staff, you help guide me to this body and lens combo and I couldn’t be happier!
Dual Procossors make the camera become very fast even white and save with large size of pics. If you are not looking for FF camera. Canon 7D is kinda stand out compare with other same grade of camera. Even after 2 years, now still one of the best A-psc camera in the market. I was using 200X CF card still working great but if taking movie, prefer 400X or faster. ISO 3200 is usable and the noise control still very good. After I got my 7D, the time I use my flash is become less and less. The camera is good for everything. Highly recommend.
My first Canon was an XSi, my second a T1i and my 3rd a 7D. Words can't explain how impressed I am with this camera body, and I've only just begun with everything this camera can do. Let me just say that when I was searching the internet for reviews on this camera while researching for a new body, I read a lot of forum reviews that the 7D had back / front focussing issues and there were always horror stories of sending the unit back to Canon to get repaired... whatever! While I have had a few shots come out soft, it was due to my own error and settings not being correct. This was all corrected once I stepped back and took a couple of moments to remedy the situation. This isn't a point and shoot camera - if you don't understand the different focussing modes or what each one does, you shouldn't be investing in a semi-pro DSLR camera. 7D - Great camera - hands down.
I've recently upgraded from the Canon XSi to the Canon 7D. The xsi has become my second body. The 8fps and focus speed/lock is excellent for sports photography. My keeper rate has gone up considerably. When coupled with an L lens the sharpness and contrast of photos is great... at the current price its a steal.
I recently purchased the 7D for its rugged body and speedy processor. It takes amazing pictures and I appreciate the ISO range for those low light conditions. Its larger size feels good and comfortable in my hands but not too bulky that it seems like a burden to carry. There are many custom buttons that you can program to make the features that you use the most very easy to access. Its been a great camera and the Henry's team has been a great help in providing knowledge on how to take the best photos! Thanks guys!!
I have a T1i which is a great camera but I wanted something with more professional features so I purchased the Canon 7D. It is an amazing camera with terrific and useful features. I have small hands and never found that the T1i felt too small which is a criticism I read often online. I was concerned that the 7D would be too large for me to hold comfortably. However, that is not the case. It is definitely a heavier and larger camera than the T1i but it does not feel unwieldy. It is well balanced and even a small person like me can handle it with no problem. I would recommend this camera to anyone who is looking to upgrade to an advanced amateur DSLR.
This is the most versatile camera I have ever used. I have used it for car racing, portraiture, wildlife, product photography, street, landscape and more. No matter what you throw at it the 7D quickly does what you need it to do. I've used it in tropical heat and Canadian winter snowstorms and not once has it failed me. Image quality is fantastic and the amount of customization available is excellent. Don't let the crop sensor deter you, this is a fantastic camera!
I have to say this is the top of the line crop sensor DSLR it handles well with it's 19 points of auto focus and 8fps which translates into less shots missed. It handles noise really well as there a lot of times I push it up to iso 6400 to get the shot. I really love how rugged the body is and that it is weather sealed which allows us photographers to be a bit more brave with our equipment. I would recommend this camera to anyone interested in a really good crop sensor DSLR it does not disappoint it just delivers.
I've upgraded from and XSi to this model and am very satisfies. I'm so happy with the performance of this that I do plan to pick up a second body soon. The 8 fps is excellent for birds in flight as well as sports. I've taken it out in the rain and have gotten shots that I would not have been able to with my previous camera thanks to the weather sealing. The video quality is excellent. Pair this body up with Canon's L series lenses and you won't be disappointed with your results.
